daily-tumbles:

Did you know these are the same dancers from the Chimney scene in Mary Poppins!?!
Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.
ALL MY LOVE TO THESE MEN FOREVER.

Still defining epic, after all these years.
Oh my god this isn’t making me cry, it’s just raining on my face.

Omg, I realized that he looks a lot like Flynn.

Especially if you look at the Tangled storybook illustrations where they mess up and give Flynn blue eyes.

ooc: If I remember correctly Tangled was originally pitched to the studios as a sequel to Enchanted way back in it’s earlier production. Which is why I giggle every time I look back at squirrel!Rapunzel with Claire and Vincent because if you think of it as a sequel and not a stand alone movie it sounds legit.

Ah! I never knew that! That explains a lot of the craziness of the plot.

I actually respect Disney a little more. Even though “Rapunzel Unbraided” would still have been a terrible movie, I can see why they almost made that terrible mistake if it was supposed to be on the same sort of “real-world-mixing-with-fantasy-world” premise.

And—this is my opinion, okay?—I was a bit disgusted with Enchanted. I know they were trying to parody themselves, and the animation was still superb, and there were definitely some little parts that made me chuckle, but I think the plot was sort of infantile.

That’s exactly why I love Enchanted so much. I don’t think it would’ve worked any other way.
